The Garrett ACE 400i sits at the top of the i-series ACE lineup, running a 10 kHz adjustable frequency through an 8.5" x 11" DD PROformance search coil - the same coil design used on Garrett's higher-end AT series. The wider DD coil pattern improves target separation in trashy ground compared to the concentric coils on the 200i and 300i.
Iron Audio produces a distinct audible response for discriminated iron, letting users identify flat iron junk like bottle caps and washers without digging them, while still hearing borderline signals worth investigating. Five search modes plus adjustable frequency and enhanced iron resolution round out a feature set built for intermediate detectorists.
A Digital Target ID scale from 0 to 99, non-motion electronic pinpointing, and Graphic Target Analyzing give the ACE 400i the control and feedback serious hobbyists expect from a mid-range detector.
